A little gem of a cake that benefited five years of aging during which we carefully brushed it with rum, time and time again, to give its unique fragrance and taste. Aging and alcohol blend the cake’s flavors, making them more complex, smooth and long finished. Store it in a cool, dry place and serve it at room temperature.
